With a focus for customer experience, the Alto Group has been successfully serving the motoring needs of Sydneysiders since 1956. Over the years, the Group has grown to become a significant Automotive Retailer, employing over 600 people, selling upwards of 12,000 vehicles annually and servicing over 65,000 vehicles per year. Remax were honoured to have the opportunity to work with the Alto Group on their new Artarmon Jaguar Landrover showroom, installing four of our Compact Sectional Doors.
The Compact Sectional Door is a perfect fit for the Car Showroom application, primarily due to its ability to be customized. Its versatility in appearance makes it compatible with glass facades, reflective surfaces, as well as solid opaque panel-work, in almost any colour., Alto Group opted for 4mm thick safety glass for this project to maximize natural lighting throughout the facility, with full surround black powder-coated frames; a smart, stark contrast against the Alucobond cladding facade of the building.
A favourite for both Architects and Builders, the Compact Sectional Door not only boasts aesthetic customization versatility, but it is extremely versatile on site for installation as well. The unique concertina design means it doesn’t require the vast overhead space that is the norm for standard overhead doors, meaning Architects and Builders can utilize this saved space for interior design, lighting arrangements and more, without impacting the door both in open and closed state.
Due to its superior insulation properties, energy efficiency is an added bonus when installing one of these doors in a Car Showroom. Customer comfort and satisfaction is an important aspect to designing a car showroom, and these doors enable the dealership to maintain a consistent temperature, the insulation keeping out the heat in summer, and preventing heat loss in winter. With easy, fast and functional operation, the door can be quickly and efficiently opened and closed throughout the day as vehicles need access and egress, also contributing to retaining a consistent temperature.
