Murray Goulburn Co-operative Co. Limited is an unlisted public company incorporated in Victoria. Devondale Murray Goulburn is 100 per cent controlled by its dairy farmer suppliers and operates under co-operative principles. Murray Goulburn’s 2500 dairy farmer-shareholders farms in south east Australia, produce milk which is collected for their eight processing plants and have sales offices in Australian capital cities, including Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Perth.
The Murray Goulburn Cobram facility is currently undergoing a $91 million investment transformation, to be equipped with the latest technology for creating package products. The transformation will include a $74 million investment world class cheese cut and wrap facility aimed at increasing capacity across cheese portions, slices and shredded cheese and $17million investment aimed at optimising capacity for Nutritional products.
Murray Goulburn Nutritionals Cobram is one of eight processing plants in Australia, which predominantly processes dairy products such as cheese and nutritional infant milk powders for Australian consumption and for export.
The processing plant removed large stripdoor’s at its warehouse and Remax Doors were asked to install Movidor High Speed Rapid Doors to enable better access between temperature controlled areas for both pedestrians and forklift vehicles.
The space required two of our widest Movidor High Speed Doors (at over 7m wide each), which sit alongside two previously installed Movidor High Speed Doors. Murray Goulburn required Movidor High Speed Doors:
